Encrypted Data Storage

All identity documents, phone numbers and payment references tied to your account are stored using AES-256 encryption. Even internal staff cannot view raw payment data outside of an approved verification workflow.

Cookie Transparency

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can manage cookie preferences from the footer of any 9nath page without affecting your account access.

Payment Data Handling

UPI references, Paytm wallet tokens and PhonePe transaction IDs are logged only for reconciliation purposes. We do not store full UPI VPAs or bank credentials — only the masked identifiers your payment provider returns to us.

Data Retention Schedule

We hold active account data for as long as your account exists. After account closure, we retain only the records required by applicable Indian regulation and delete everything else within 30 days of your verified closure request.

Account Security Controls

Two-step login verification is available for all accounts. We log each login attempt with a timestamp and device fingerprint; if we detect an unusual pattern, we flag it and may temporarily lock the session pending your confirmation.

Your Right to Access and Correction

You can request a full export of the data we hold on your account at any time. If any detail is incorrect — a misspelled name or an old phone number — contact the privacy desk and we will update it within five working days.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and any identity documents you submit during verification. Device identifiers and IP addresses are also logged at account creation to support security checks and fraud prevention.

We store only the masked transaction reference returned by your payment provider — not your full UPI VPA or Paytm wallet credentials. These references are encrypted at rest and are accessible only through an authorised reconciliation workflow, never exposed to general staff.

Yes. Log in, go to Account Settings, then Privacy, and submit a data export request. We will compile your file and send it to your registered email address within five working days of receiving the request.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with payment processors such as UPI and Paytm networks for transaction fulfilment, and with identity verification providers where required by local law in India. All third parties are bound by data-handling agreements.

Once your account closure is verified, we delete non-essential data within 30 days. Records required under applicable Indian regulations are retained for the statutory period and then permanently deleted. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
